Choose a faculty member whom you feel will best mentor the process with you. Note that no faculty member will mentor more than two students. Begin the process of selecting a mentor as soon as possible and turn that name into Mrs. Honness & Mrs. Martinec. Confirm your wishes with the mentor to ensure that he/she has the time and willingness to work with you in said capacity. Later, during your appointment with Mrs. Honness, you should demonstrate an understanding of how the IB evaluates your essay and how you will need to concentrate your research effectively.

Include titles of websites, books, magazine articles, etc. you intend to use within your paper. Mrs. H will check for appropriate MLA formatting and documentation. This document will NOT be resubmitted until your paper’s completion; therefore, any corrections that need to be made will be conducted on a “good-faith” basis.

Work Days
The student is responsible for a minimum of TWO EE work days during this time period, all days will be supervised by the coordinators. Students will have the opportunity to research, flesh out the research question & EE outline as well as begin the foundations of the paper.
